The Breakthrough Toby Robins Breast Cancer Research Centre, at The Institute of Cancer Research, is the first dedicated breast cancer centre in this country, focusing solely on the disease. There are over 100 scientists and doctors at the research centre, working to discover the causes of breast cancer, develop gentler and more effective treatments, and to find out how, ultimately, the disease can be prevented. Breakthrough also raises awareness of breast cancer and is campaigning for improvements in services and treatments."
